Jesus is the bridge from death to Life. Jesus is the way that we can be friends with God again. Romans 5:6-11 "So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God."
These are some pictures from Summersville Middle School WyldLife last night. It's been amazing to watch what the Lord has done with WyldLife this semester. In the beginning of February we weren't even planning to start WyldLife yet. Then we had two meetings and started at the end of February. Last night was our third WyldLife. We had almost 50 kids again last night. It's awesome to serve them with an hour and half of fun, food, and the Truth of what the Bible says about Jesus. Last night I had the honor of sharing what we call in Young Life the "sin/cross talk". It is Gospel!
Sin separates us from Jesus. And we all have Sin. Romans 3:23
Sin is a disease that means we deserve death. Romans 6:23a
BUT The free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23b
Jesus came to live and die to bridge the way from death to life. John 3:16
Jesus showed us how much God loves us. Romans 5:8
We are now able to be friends with God. Romans 5:11
We must believe he died in our place to save us. Romans 10:10
Jesus came to give us life and life to the full! John 10:10
Gosh, its so humbling to be able to share that life-changing truth with 50 middle school students. I'm thankful for the opportunity. And praying that God is planting seeds in hearts that He will grow over these next crucial years in their precious lives.
